That tune from James Taylor has been in my head since this little boy entered the world in the early morning of Thursday, August 19th.James D.X Houston born 4:11am. 7.6 pounds.

What a sweet baby. He takes after Noah. Noah was an easy going baby from the beginning...and James is pretty similar in behavior so far.
This is Noah's "baby Jame" (he doesn't put the "s" sound on his name yet...it's too cute!)
My labor story is long. It's painful. It's simply not worth writing about because the best part of the whole story is James. But, I will say that I give all the Praise, Honor and Glory to God for helping me through it. I truly never thought I'd be able to say that I delivered a child without any pain management. But here I am. I did it. I survived. It was the most difficult, painful thing I have ever endured...but look at me! I can say I did something I NEVER thought I could do. Ever!
:) God is good!:) and I think that was the lesson in going through all that unexpected pain.

Congratulations! He is precious, and way to go with the natural childbirth. That is a huge accomplishment!
