Sounds Goooood:)

Hello everyone.
I would like to encourage everyone to go to itunes....and download music from this guy

David Gamboa from his partial album "Dandelion Heart"It's pretty cool...you know why? I can say he is a great song writer and performer, because I have seen him and his band play live.....

But the coolest part...this girl....Shannon:)
She just happens to be the best, most sweetest, cutest, talented sister-in-law ever...she plays the violin...
...and plays for his band! She has been to several "gigs" with his band and recorded with him.

So check it out! Don't take my word for it.

Isn't she beautiful? She is about to graduate from high school and attend Texas A&M in the fall! We're so proud!!!
Yay Shanny we love you!

At the Park...

Just the other day...
My sweet friend Gina accompanied me and Noah to the park. We wanted to have a picnic by the pond, feed the duckies and just enjoy letting Noah run around. Good times.
Indeed, we enjoyed our time there.
This is Noah checkin himself out before we left..making sure he looked good...Of course he did..and we made it to the park...and he was eager to feed the ducks...Had to swing a lil bit...
And ...Gina and I decided it was time...
Noah's first SOLO slide!!!!

video

Hooray for finally getting a video on the blog!!! Sorry its sideways...but you get it anyway!

And so, after that solo act..he wanted more..so we let him bounce all by himself..And...he loves sticks...
And since his Daddy loves action shots..this one is for him:)

More stories for Daddy

Okay, so feeding Noah sometimes stresses me out because he can be picky about one food and the next day love it.
Anyway, on this particular night I made chicken, broccoli and rice. I really wanted to see if Noah would eat it all with me, (because its awesome when he eats what I eat for dinner)...and it started out pretty grim. He wouldnt touch it, and if he did, he wanted to play in it. So, I grabbed a fork and decided to show him how big boys eat...And this is what happened!

Yay...this kid is eating ...BROCCOLI!

Look at those dimples!

Such concentration...

And another day, I found him in his old bumbo..

..apparently this is a good spot to read:)

Daddy..we sure do miss you...and wish you were around to read to me!...and show me how to eat fun things that Mommy makes:)

Noah got into Uncle Chris's clothes...
He's just being goofy...and I have them to thank for teaching Noah how to make faces on the windows...
But..you gotta love those lil Noah prints all over the window:) (Im sure the hotel maid in Garmisch didn't appreciate them as much as we did..hehehehe)

A very Blessed Mother's Day indeed!

For Mother's Day I decided to take Noah to the Zoo. I was so excited that 2 of my sweet friends, Gina and Elizabeth, wanted to come along!

We had such a great time. I was so pumped to take Gina because she had never been to a zoo, ever! Being the big zoo lover that I am ...I was delighted to bring her along. Also, Elizabeth is such a good lil photographer...she brought her camera and captured some sweet moments for us.

The most thrilling experience I had at the zoo was with what I think was a groundhog? We were walking up a hill and spotted a lil guy out..on the sidewalk..amongst the peeps! Here's what I saw... and he's thinking..."Shhhhmells alright?!"...*for Janiece we heart you!**
And this dude nearly snatched Gina's lunch in the basket under the stroller!! I would have fed him ..cute lil dude, but there were lots of people around and I didnt want to get in trouble....and seriously, I wanted to reach down and grab him...I half way expected him to start talking..bc he reminded me of the beavers from Narnia.
The whole time I kept telling the girls..that groundhog/rodent thingee really made my whole day...seriously...my whole day! teehehe

So, we had a wonderful time...I am excited about getting my pics from Elizabeth...and to top that off...
It was Mother's Day....and so later that evening...Gina called me, to simply say "check your email" and this is what I found!!!!!!! :) from her! These girls are precious gifts to me...how blessed am I to have such thoughtful friends?!

And lastly...Noah discovered the drawer where I keep all the pacis...goofy kid!

Priceless

I thought I would be adventurous and make play dough!
It was a huge success! Those tubs equal pure delight in Noah's book.
It started off with a huge pot of goo, which quite frankly I was scared would never turn to play dough. I added a little bit of green food coloring, that was my base color. Then, I got creative and started adding food coloring like crazy. I was looking up tips online for how to make it, and I read that if you add vanilla extract or something it will make it smell better and last longer, but I didnt have vanilla to spare, so I put a little bit of almond..which I hate...but it doesnt really smell.
As you can see, we ended up with 6 colors. I am most proud of the lime green..and least proud of the gold/brownish...yeah..take a look at this picture and tell me what you think it is? LOL!(***Note..this was specifically taken for Daddy!!! I hope you laugh..Hard!)
Anyway..here are some not so gross looking ones...
This is what Noah does to the play dough...pulls it apart...
I have to supervise a lot because he has a tendency to throw it on the floor or eat it. However, after tasting it once, I really don't think he will do that again! haha!

And here are some cute pictures from Aimee and Chris's last day...we thought he looked so cute! My sweet friend Betsy gave him that outfit! Also, this is the famous look we have been getting from him lately...so funny! Aimee calls it the Elvis lips...Im not quite sure what to think of it. I think he's just discovering his "nose muscles" bc he does this a lot lately. The other day I was driving and I kept hearing a "sniff/blow" noise from the back seat...it was him...I guess he is practicing blowing his nose...allergies here are no fun!

On top of the world...almost..

The Zugzspitze....
Well at 9,718 feet...who really wouldn't feel like that? Yes, I did it, I went to the top of the Zugspitze. It happens to be the tallest mountain in Germany...and you can see 4 countries on a clear day, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Italy...pretty amazing! Not impressed are ya? Would it interest you to know that I am terrrrrrified of heights?! Yes, yes I am. And I had to ride in a cable car (and in my mind I was thinking cable car of death) all the way to the top. Luckily Aimee and Chris were there to soothe my terrified lil soul. Seriously...I felt like passing out. My whole body was tense the entire time...during the cable car ride, while I was up on the mountain top...and a little bit afterwards when we made it safely to the ground...

So here is me..with my scared look holding Noah, which I couldnt do for very long because my body was so tense, Aimee had to hold him most of the ride up and down...boo.
But...it was so worth it..here are some shots to prove it!
Noah decided he liked the snow...a lot! He was too cute! He sat there and wanted to play in it...meanwhile Im thinking "seriously Noah? You have no clue that you are on top of an extremely high mountain, Mommy is gonna freak out any minute..and you are laughing and carrying on with the snow...how wonderful...oh to be young and clueless!"and yes..I highly (heheheh no pun intended) agreed with this sign..."Danger of Life" that's basically how I felt the whole time I was up there!!!

And here is a view looking up to the mountain inside the cable car...and me..looking happier..because we are about to be on the ground soon!We also got to visit this amazing lake the next day..right at the base of the Mountain.Noah enjoyed walking around...and picking up rocks...he didnt realize that there was water because it was so clear...he kept trying to walk right into it!The same day we ascended and descended the Zugspitze we also took a short scenic drive to one of the prettiest castles..the Linderhoff. It was so neat because it was the castle the King actually lived in (this King had a reputation for building castles, and not really living in them).....it was awesome, we got to tour the inside...even see the bed he slept in...unfortunately we couldnt take pictures of the inside..but Im sure you can imagine what it might have looked like by observing the outside views....
This is cascading waterfall fountain...complete with horses that have water shooting out of their noses! Oh and...just fyi...the King's bedroom..yeah, his view every morning was of this fountain, he could definitely see it from his very cozy bed.
And this fountain in the front...got really really high..this is a picture of it shrinking...Chris and I estimated it got at least 25 feet high! And yes, that is really a gold fountain..
And me and Noah enjoying a break...and Im thrilled to be on the ground..not up on that mountain top..LOL.
And yes, I did stop to feed the swans! Jon...these pictures are for you! I fed swans!!!!!!(In keeping with our duck feedin' tradition of course...I think we can consider these as "high class" ducks...those really cute white ones you know I really like!)And with that..Im sure I reached the max picture dosage for this post...but I hope you enjoyed seeing our lil adventure...
and Jon..we can't wait to go there again with YOU!!!! You can teach Noah how not to be afraid of heights!
