The Zugzspitze....

Well at 9,718 feet...who really wouldn't feel like that? Yes, I did it, I went to the top of the Zugspitze. It happens to be the tallest mountain in Germany...and you can see 4 countries on a clear day, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Italy...pretty amazing! Not impressed are ya? Would it interest you to know that I am terrrrrrified of heights?! Yes, yes I am. And I had to ride in a cable car (and in my mind I was thinking cable car of death) all the way to the top. Luckily Aimee and Chris were there to soothe my terrified lil soul. Seriously...I felt like passing out. My whole body was tense the entire time...during the cable car ride, while I was up on the mountain top...and a little bit afterwards when we made it safely to the ground...
So here is me..with my scared look holding Noah, which I couldnt do for very long because my body was so tense, Aimee had to hold him most of the ride up and down...boo.

Noah decided he liked the snow...a lot! He was too cute! He sat there and wanted to play in it...meanwhile Im thinking "seriously Noah? You have no clue that you are on top of an extremely high mountain, Mommy is gonna freak out any minute..and you are laughing and carrying on with the snow...how wonderful...oh to be young and clueless!"

and yes..I highly (heheheh no pun intended) agreed with this sign..."Danger of Life" that's basically how I felt the whole time I was up there!!!

This is cascading waterfall fountain...complete with horses that have water shooting out of their noses! Oh and...just fyi...the King's bedroom..yeah, his view every morning was of this fountain, he could definitely see it from his very cozy bed.

And this fountain in the front...got really really high..this is a picture of it shrinking...Chris and I estimated it got at least 25 feet high! And yes, that is really a gold fountain..

And me and Noah enjoying a break...and Im thrilled to be on the ground..not up on that mountain top..LOL.

And yes, I did stop to feed the swans! Jon...these pictures are for you! I fed swans!!!!!!(In keeping with our duck feedin' tradition of course...I think we can consider these as "high class" ducks...those really cute white ones you know I really like!)

And with that..Im sure I reached the max picture dosage for this post...but I hope you enjoyed seeing our lil adventure...
and Jon..we can't wait to go there again with YOU!!!! You can teach Noah how not to be afraid of heights!
