so busy...lots of pics!!!

Hello everyone...especially JON!!! :)
We have been so very busy. Both Jon and I have had family in town for the last couple weeks. It has been so great spending time with family. The time passed quickly and that is great for me, keep it coming..the faster September gets here the better!!!

So, Christmas was great. We had a wonderful time exchanging gifts and spending time with each other.
We gave Noah a mohawk for Christmas:)

Noah had so much fun at Jon's family's ranch in Blanco...the boy is a natural out there...Just like his Daddy!!!
I look forward to the New Year....things will slow down a little bit so I can blog more frequently and email more of my lovelies.:)

For my Darling...

Well, since Jon is away and its hard to open picture files without taking forever, these pics are for him (and yall too) to see what we have been up to since we got to TEXAS!!!!

We saw Uncle Mark graduate from A&M!We had fun playing with Mark's friend Micheal's silly toys...We played in the leaves!...My MiMi is so great!I got to hang out with my super cool Birthday buddy Brody (born on the very same day at the same hospital as me!)

We got to visit with our sweet friends, the Shaddix's, before they moved to New Mexico!I had my first bath with my friend Sadie...and it was so much fun!

We got to go see where my Pappy is buried...so special.We picked out our very first Christmas tree!!!Here's a pic of Noah on the plane listening to Daddy's voice..singing him sweet Cowboy songs...Noah's FAVORITE!

Odds and Ends

So, I am doing my best not to let the blog suffer while I organize and prepare to fly back to Texas.

I have officially started packing today, I leave on Thursday.

I have to say...my landlords are amazing. Simply a gift. Not only have they already sent me home with 2 packages to open from them on Christmas day....They are insisting that Peter ride the train with me (to avoid driving in bad weather...its supposed to snow soon)...he will help me get on and off the train with all my stuff and help me check in. Can you believe them? They are just awesome. I will surely miss them while I am back in the States for 3 months.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to update on the blog about Jon...just ask or email me...I will be sending out emails soon about what we can pray for and such.

So, as the day nears of our big 10 hour flight...I am feeling pretty good. Noah has been great.
Lately, he has a habit of wondering into the bathroom...the kid is enamored with the toilet...this picture was taken right before a bath...as I was preparing the rest of the bath...I turned around and found him....kinda funny...looks like he was actually using the toilet.
Also, some friends of ours here gave Noah a walker...and he loves the thing! Noah is so well taken care of over here...I cannot wait to come back to Texas. Aside from seeing all my family and friends...the food!!! Oh I cannot wait for:

• Mexican Food!!!! To include...Taco Cabana...Los Nortenos (in CS)
• Laynes Chicken (also in CS)
• Texas Roadhouse!!!
• Sonic....oh crushed ice...where have you been for 8 months!
  
• McAlister's Deli
• EZ s(shakes...Niecie...we simply must have a date to get shakes:) )
• a good GROCERY store...ol' trustee...H E B !!!!!!!!!!!
• Target and Walmart are going to be heavenly!

Places I will not want to step foot in while Im there....because we have them on post here...
Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut...blah!

I also cannot wait to cook my families a real German meal!!! Yep...I learned! Just a little bit...It should be great:)

So, let the packing begin! Im coming home sooooooon!

Until your husband is serving far far away....and you hang on to every last word he said before he left, playing it over in your head...UNTIL,

And behold.....IT"S HIM!!!!!!!!!!

My darling...calling me! Just the sound of his voice puts my heart at ease.

Emails are awesome...but nothing beats HIS voice!


Oh happy day...what a wonderful way to end an otherwise gloomy day.
