Lil guy news:)

So, this will be an update on all the things Noah is doing lately.
I feel like so much has changed in the last few weeks.
This kid is growin so fast.
HE IS MOBILE! Loves scootin around.

So, the latest trick is climbin his lil playpen and standing...he tries to find all sorts of things to help him stand! But, the poor lil baby doesn't know how to get down! Too funny. The worst part is that he is doing that in his crib now :(

As you can see, he got his pacifier stuck one day....soooo funny...he did get it back...on his own I might add.

This is him in a cute lil A&M onsie...we cannot wait for Aggie football to start!

So, he wants to eat big people food too. The boy cracks me up. Whenever I am eating, he scoots on over, climbs my legs and tries stealing my food.
Funny story...we were out to eat one day. One of the girls I was with had a salad. I was still eating, and she was done...still a lot of salad left over. She offered to hold Noah so I could finish eating. Apparently this lil dude was eyeballin' her salad the whole time...as soon as she stood him up on her lap...he reached (and I mean it was a stretch bc she moved it far away enough, or so we thought, so Noah couldnt get it) he snatched a piece of lettuce so fast, we couldn't even believe our eyes...we were almost in tears it was so funny. The boy was lightening Ninja style fast! LOL...needless to say, he was pretty let down, because one taste of the piece of lettuce and he had this poor confused look on his face...It was soooo funny, I wish I had a video that day.

He still just has one visible tooth. But, I just know from all the fussiness that another one is coming any day now.

We are anxiously awaiting Jon's return! We cannot wait to see him again. I feel like so much has changed since he has been gone, I cannot wait to see Jon interact with his lil son again and see how much he can do now:)

I just love this lil dude...he just makes my days so much brighter...:)Hugs to everyone!!! We miss you guys lots and lots.

CarSeat Conundrum

Help me out all you moms out there!
I need to get Noah a carseat soon. He is quickly outgrowing his infant carrier one.
I have no clue which one to buy.
I also do not have the luxury of shopping and looking firsthand at what's out there because we are here in Germany.
So, if you have one you can recommend help me out! Take a second and give me some advice! Thanks so much Ya'll!

And we danced anyway.

Oh how I love my cowboy boots. I love them.
Now, to explain the blog title...........
As you know, Jon got to come home for about 36 hours. It was just wonderful. We had so much fun together.
So, one of the things we miss soooooo much is dancing with each other. We had no dance floor. We were wearing our PJs. AND WE DANCED ANYWAY! I put on some good ol' country music, (which made me realize how much I missed me some good Texas Country!!!), and grabbed our cowboy boots. We cleared the floor (which was slightly covered with Baby items), and danced. It was wonderful. When moments like those happen, I like to think I will remember them forever, and look back on them fondly and just sigh....and grin really REALLY big at Jon and just go...aahhhhhh:)
When I started to put my boots on, I smiled so big. "My boots you gave me are one of my most favoritist things ever!" That's what I said. I love my boots.

They make me smile. They make me remember all the times I got to dance with the love of my life even before we were married. He gave me money to buy boots for my 22nd Birthday. We went together and picked out a great pair of boots. That picture above captures my favorite...my boots, but also, some of OUR favorites...it was taken at Research Park at A&M. I had a sweet friend of ours, Abby, take some pictures of me for my then Fiance Jon for his Birthday. Notice the ducks in the background, that was our favorite place to go on dates...Research Park and feed ducks. It has a very special place in our hearts. We dearly miss that. We miss dancing....so, when Jon came home for just 36 hours...
We danced. We even danced on our balcony. I didn't care who saw us.(which is huge for me, because usually I am so scared of people seeing me/watching me) I was dancing with my Jon. My most amazing husband. Actually, I was kind of disappointed that if people saw us, they couldnt see our cool boots on our feet. I wanted to show off to all of Germany, "See, this is where we come from, TEXAS....and we love two-steppin with each other...and we love wearing our boots!" But it was probably good they didn't see them...because I didn't want the Germans getting the wrong idea of Texans...that we wear our cowboy boots with shorts...LOL. It was so great. We both looked like goofs...but we didn't care.
We ended our dance session with a waltz of course. Our favorite:)
So, just a lil story of one our sweetest moments together.

Just some goofy pics:)

I thought I would share some silly pics of our lil guy:)

We have been having lots of fun, we went swimming again today and he did great.
I hope everyone is just as excited as we are about our Olympics!
That is about all that we are up to these days....and...we get to have 2 nights with Jon this Sunday:) YAY! We cannot wait!
And....our lil one is almost ready to be called "mobile". He scoots....its funny! If I knew how to post videos easily I would post a video...but I haven't had much luck doing that. But, all I can say is that when Noah sees something he is interested in, he scoots with one leg behind him ....I can't describe it well, but its so funny, I think he does it that way right now because he just learned how to sit on his own and he likes being in a sitting position.
anyway...hope you enjoyed the pictures:)

SCHWIMMBAD

Our first Swimming Experience...!!!

Today we went to a German Schwimmbad (swimming pool)...It was fantastic!!! HA,German too, complete with plenty of men walking around in skimpy speedos..LOL!

Gosh it was a blast! There was a big water slide...all inclosed and lit up on the inside....an indoor and outdoor swim area..this place was massive...I will have to go back and take pics of it for you to understand. A sweet friend remembered her camera...so enjoy these pics! (thank you Kaylynn :o))

I have concluded that Noah will be a superstar swimmer! This lil guy loved the water!!! The only thing missin was Jon...we cannot wait to take him!
