our first family easter...
Jon and I had our first family Easter with Lil Noah. We kicked off the festivities on Saturday night by dying eggs, soooo much fun! We bought glitter and shiny egg kits this year which turned out great. Then we woke up and opened our Easter baskets from eachother, super fun. We filled each other's baskets with favorite Easter goodies, highlights would have to be REESE's eggs for me, and Cadbury Caramel eggs for Jon. Then, we went to church, got Noah all dressed up to match Dad in a yellow top and navy blue bottoms. After church Jon hid eggs in the front yard for me, and I hid eggs in the backyard for Jon...so much fun! We love huntin' for eggs. Our Easter was super fun and we hope everyone enjoyed theirs too:) Check out our slideshow...

My big strong boy!
Im so excited, I can hardly stand it! Today Noah went to get his 2 month shots...
Wow, he cried for one second, then nothing...silence!!! I could not believe it!!! I asked the nurses, because I thought for sure he would cry for a long time, in fact I was expecting my day to be full of crying...NOT the case! My strong lil man pulled through like a Champ...Im sooooo proud...I think it was all the good luck Aggie stuff he had on...hehehe...Here's proof...This is just after we got home, he was smiling at me:)

Noah is 2 months old!!!

My sweet precious baby boy is getting soooo big:)
He's so cute I just can't stand it sometimes:)
We love him so much, he fills our hearts with such joy...just watchin' him.
And I have to say I love my sling! Love love love...and Noah does too! It's the best! Kirby and Larra, Ya'll rock my socks for getting me this for my baby shower...

It's my magic button...it's magic I tell ya...I put him in...and viola! He's super calm...and then starts falling asleep:) Every pregnant woman should invest in one so when baby comes you'll be prepared! I cannot begin to count how many times I have been stopped up here by adoring women...not just because my lil guy is the cutest ever:) hehehe!

And...My sweeet sweeeet sister, Noah's Auntie Aim...and Uncle BIL (brother in law..his name is Chris..but we call him BIL..hehehe) made him this cutie patootie onesie for Easter...I love Pappy...Pappy is very very special because it is what we decided to call my dad:)If you don't know, my dad, Thomas Sternberg, passed away almost 5 years ago, and so we gave Noah the middle name "Thomas" in honor of him...and Auntie Aim made him this sweet lil shirt..hehe! Pappy...we love you!

My sweet lil man:)

Love this lil dude!!!
Nothing to report, just thought I would post some more pics of my favorite lil guy.
Oh and my new hair...although these aren't the best ones of my hair...I'll find better ones to show later:)

This is the outfit he wore when he got dedicated at church:) Jon said he looked like an old man...LOL

This by far is one of our favorite faces, his pouty face...too cute, we usually can't help but laugh when he does this:)
He's getting so big, and starting to do a lot of neat things. He's starting to focus on things, studying them really good, almost roll over and keep his lil head up. He's keeping me super busy. I can't complain too much about the nights, he usually sleeps through them, Im not really getting up to feed him anymore, its just usually him waking us up in the middle of the night with loud grunts nothing more. He's our lil grunter. LOL. Doesn't cry much, just grunts. :)
Noah got dedicated at church this past Sunday, Im waiting to get better pics to post for that. Other than that we're just hanging out here for just one more month.
We hope to be coming home to San Antonio for the last 2 weeks in April and leave from there around the first week of May to Germany. We have a lot to do in the next few weeks, including separating all our belongings into categories that will be shipped at different speeds, some will take 2 months! and the others about 1 month. With the lil man its going to make things more interesting as far as packing goes. Right now Im trying to gather all the info I can about traveling with an infant. If anyone has suggestions or tips...please let me know. I checked with our airlines and luckily strollers, car seats and diaper bags don't count as carry-ons so thats helpful. But, with Noah in one hand and a car seat in another, we are going to need an easier way to carry all his loot.
That's all for now...the lil man calls.....er should I say grunts!

Our lil Traveler'
Just a quick update...
Not much going on with the Houston family. But lately Jon and I have been talking about how much Noah is such a GREAT lil traveler! We are so blessed that this lil man loves to travel in his car seat. Seeing as how he had to make a 12 hour ride only 2 weeks old, I think that got him hooked, he loves it. Here's a cute picture to prove it:)

Nothing more to update about Germany, We are still planning to be there in the beginning of May. We're getting pretty excited, but there is much room to get super stressed too, there is so much to do to prepare for a move like this. Please be praying for us that all our paperwork will go through, and the move will be a smooth transition!
Jon only has about 1 month left of training. The weather is as crazy as Texas weather...cold one day, super huge snowflakes falling, then yesterday I wore a short sleeved shirt. hmmff...
They say the weather in Germany is much more predictable...so here's to predictable weather...finally!
Thats just about all the updating...Easter's coming and we're excited!
