Random new facts of life for Angie

Alright, I shall begin this post by first telling of my frustration with time management. Where does the time go??? I mean, I seriously thought that once I stopped working I guess I could turn into SuperWoman of the house and get all the unfinished tasks done in like, ONE week! No my dear friend, It is going on week 3 for me staying at home and I'm nowhere close to checking off half my list of to dos. How frustrating, and what it must appear like to others who don't stay at home? "How can she not be done with things, if I stayed home I would be super efficient!" Oh man, first any advice from my fellow readers or just comforting words that I am not the only one who feels like time flies a lot faster when not at an official place of employment. Phew, glad to get that one out!

Next, Pregnancy! I am so happy to say that we have 10 fingers, 10 toes and a slightly larger than usual femur (thigh bone for those who arent anatomically inclined). No worries about the femur, the tech said it is highly reflective of the daddy, in this case Noah will no doubt be destined to run with the longs legs his dad gave him! Also, to update, yes I can feel lil Noah kicking and pushing away in there now! Its fantastic and I love it so much!
With all the fun, sweet stuff said. I am about to ask some ladies who have had kids to come forth with the wealth of knowledge that isnt usually said, lets just call it, "The things you wished someone would have told you about pregnancy and birth" Thats right! And if it is to graphic or personal, please, let us schedule a meeting to share the knowledge! I cannot tell you how many women have come up to me and told me that there is so much "stuff" they wished they would have known about pregnancy, and birthing and then thats it...they don't divulge!?! Thats right...as if me knowing this new shred of information must be learned on my own! Well, Im sorry to say, this first time Mommy to be is feeling a little overwhelmed...Shall I list off my main reasons why?

1. Jon will be leaving here at the end of October, giving me no spouse to talk to about weird happenings and such of my last trimester, or comforting words for that matter either.
2. Do I need to repeat that I am a FIRST TIME mother to-be?!!
3. Being surrounded by so many amazing women who seem to have this pregnancy and birthing thing down to an art form is starting to really intimidate me!
4. I just really, really wanna know!!!

That's all, if I need to give more reasons, please let me know. lol. So, I am calling on all my lovely female friends who might impart some profound bits of wisdom to this mommy to-be.
I want to assure everyone as I end this post that I am in no way complaining about being pregnant, this has been the most amazing time in my entire life! I love every second of it, even when its not pretty, when I cry at just about anything, for really no particular reason at all..:) I would just appreciate the wisdom!

Experiencing the Spirit :)

Something I must recommend...I have recently been reading "Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit" by the wonderful Beth Moore.

All I can say is wow! I admit I started this book and slacked off a lot after the first week, but I have returned to it and I am loving everything about it! I never knew how much I did not know as believer about the wonderful character of the Holy Spirit! I have been so full of joy after reading the devotionals everyday. Praise God we serve a Master who lives in us, guiding and empowering us. I must share my most recent favorite quote. "He continues to direct you through these same methods: The Father first wills, the Son speaks the Father's will to you through His Word, and the Holy Spirit supplies the power for you to obey. ...Without the Holy Spirit, you would live in the constant frustration of qualifying for a race, having the finish line in sight, but having no energy to finish the race." I have to explain the main reason why I love this so much is because it gently reminds me, " Angela are you allowing Father, Son and Holy Spirit to work in you? If you are not reading the Word you are not giving the Son an opportunity to speak to you, which then does not give the Holy Spirit the chance to truly energize you the way you have been asking for in prayer." So good! I love knowing that as a Christian we are constantly learning, constantly being guided. I am so thankful! What an amazing God we serve! Go get this book!

I can't hardly believe it....

I'm feeling completely stress free and full of life! I'm finally embracing my career I have always wanted..HOUSEWIFERY :)

Yep that's me! Life in the kitchen is wonderful! My worries are usually just about what to make for dinner for my husband :0) It is now my official first week of not going to work and things are terrific. My day is kept sunny at the thought of preparing to see my wonderful husband at the end of each day. I know I sound like a 1950's wife who is seriously obsessed with staying at home, but I just LOVE IT! Jon has been absolutely amazing at supporting me and telling me how incredibly blessed he feels that he has a wife that actually takes joy and pride at staying home. On my last day Jon surprised me at the door with this beautiful bouquet of Orchids,

(which are extremely sentimental to me, they were my dad's favorite, and this bouquet was one of the prettiest I had ever seen) Then he got this card...how appropriate! On the inside he wrote, "You did it!"

I love Jon! My husband is the best!
